Welcome to Mrs. Shumate-Anderson's wiki for Language Arts & Social Studies classes. This wiki will be your go-to place for information.

This year in Language Arts our focus will be on increasing our reading comprehension skills. In addition, we will continue to refine our writing skills, and will study word stems in depth to increase our vocabulary. Daily Grammar Practice activities will also be used to help us gain a better understanding of the English language.

7th Grade Social Studies is a continuation of World History begun last year in 6th grade. It will review basic Social Studies concepts and will resume with a study of the Renaissance Period and continue to Present Day.
